When measuring angles with the auto lock feature enabled, the measurement will freeze and hold the angle if the device hasn’t been moved for a while.

The image below shows the three main modes of the auto lock features.

  1. Disabled
  2. Tracking (Enabled but not yet locked)
  3. Locked

When auto lock is disabled: Tap the auto lock button to enable auto lock.

Autolock will now wait for the device to stabilize and lock the most recent measurement.

To unlock a locked measurement:

Tap once > Go back to Tracking

Tap again > To disable auto lock

Autolock works in both main modes: Angle Finder and Surface Level
